You’re still using the powder mix? This homemade French onion dip is next level, creamy, savory, and loaded with caramelized onions.

This French onion dip is not the packet dip you grew up with. This one’s got depth. Fresh caramelized onions mixed throughout. It’s rich and savory and just better from scratch. Ruffle style potato chips were made for it, but I also love it with pita bread, crackers, pretzel thins, veggies. It’s so good.

Very nice! Personally, I can't get enough onions! My wife on the other hand will use 2/3rds, 3/4ths or even 7/8ths of an onion, put the rest in the fridge until it goes bad and I have to throw it away. Every time she saves a piece of onion I have to ask her why? My wife seems to think there is this, "delicate balance" of flavor and two tablespoons or 1/4 of a cup of more chopped onion in something will throw off the balance of the universe, causing the zombie apocalypse or perhaps the end of life on spaceship planet earth. 🙄 I've told her over and over and over again to just use the entire onion and you'll never be able to taste the difference. When I buy onions I always try to buy the smallest ones possible so that she can hopefully use the whole thing and not have to save any. This really bothers me, mostly because the saved onion is almost always wasted.
Thanks!👍

The thing she didn't say is that it took 12 hours to get the onions to that stage. 😁
