If it’s a spectacular view you want, it’s hard to beat Lago by Julian Serrano at Bellagio. Whether you are seated outside on the patio or near the floor-to-ceiling windows, the vista of Bellagio’s lake is a view you’ll remember.

Lago offers both brunch and dinner, with a variety of Italian dishes to tempt your palate. From 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily, enjoy brunch with such items as beef carpaccio; the popular panzanella salad; a variety of pizzettas from black truffle to margherita and pepperoni; apple pancakes; lobster Benedict; uovo fonduta (with a poached egg and truffle and fontina fonduta); and an everything bagel with smoked salmon, caviar and mascarpone.

Larger appetites may want to try lasagna; seafood linguine with shrimp, lobster and scallops; salmon piccata; or steak and eggs with a Barolo wine sauce. Bottomless mimosas are available for $75. And for an extra special sip, try the new Veuve Clicquot RICH. It’s pretty delicious, as I can attest.

Dinner is delightful, especially after dark with the magically lit fountain shows. Order a half-pound, butter-poached Alaskan king crab to start, or consider seafood risotto with scallops, shrimp and lobster. Fish choices include branzino, John Dory or salmon piccata. There are plenty of pastas and meats, like spaghetti and meatballs, gnocchi with pesto, grilled lamb chops and a grilled, 16-ounce prime ribeye.
