If you’re looking for an easy, healthy, delicious dinner idea, this pesto pasta is a fantastic option. I’m going to show you how to make pesto from scratch using just a food processor. Let’s do it. I like to start out by roasting some pine nuts. Now, they don’t need long, just a few minutes until they become fragrant. The main ingredient in pesto is basil. Now, this is not a paid advertisement, but my grocery store sells these Northshore living herbs, which are herbs that are just still in soil. So add to your food processor 2 cups of basil, 1/2 cup roasted pine nuts, one garlic clove, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 2 tbsps lemon juice, 14 cup parmesan cheese, and lastly 1/2 cup olive oil. Pulse that for a minute or two until you reach your desired consistency. I like to leave mine a little bit more textured, but to each their own. Then I’m just going to add this right into my boiled pasta. And this is ready to eat. Have it all by itself, pair it with some chicken, whatever you want to do. That’s it. A really delicious, simple meal in under 20 minutes. As always, ingredients will be in the description. Thank you for watching.

Its not healthy. The pasta breaks down as glucose, the chicken does not have enough protein to cover that. This is why this is a student meal – because students usually can’t afford healthy meals. You should do better.
How much pasta should I make for the amount of sauce?
