Client didn’t want any flowers.

  1. The first pic looks perfect. The second looks half eaten. And the popcorn was an odd choice. Rather than everything spaced out everywhere, maybe only two or three piles of watermelon. Chop up the big loaves and clump them around. There’s just too much space around everything.

Are those entire pot pies in the first pic?

I really like what you’ve done with the salami- it’s not a flower, but it’s attractive and easy to pick up.

But, how am I supposed to serve myself the popcorn? Next, how am I supposed to eat it? I presumably wouldn’t want to get dirty fingers, and then finally, you’ve placed it next to watermelon- won’t it get soggy?

I would display the watermelon and other fruit together in a nice tray. The popcorn would be better in a large bowl with a scoop and some bowls or cups for guests to serve themselves. The strawberries would look nice piled high.

I love the little carrot cakes. What are the other bars?

I’d put the dessert bars on a tiered tray. That would keep them somewhat together while not making the spacing needs so obvious. Since you already have dried fruit, nuts, & fresh fruit on the main table, I think the ones on the second table would be less out of place if just incorporated there, too. But give the watermelon its own platter, it’s too wet to set near the other items.
