Dubai Cake – A Dessert That Wins You Over From the First Bite

Learn how to make a beautiful and delicious chocolate-spinach marble cake at home! This cake is perfect for any occasion — soft, moist, and with a stunning green and chocolate swirl.

Ingredients:
Dry mixture:
Flour — 420 g
Baking powder — 1 tsp
Egg mixture:
Olive oil — 180 ml
Sugar — 280 g
Eggs — 3
Vanilla sugar — 1 tsp
Chocolate batter:
Cocoa — 50 g
Milk — 180 ml
Spinach batter:
Spinach — 100 g
Milk — 120 ml

Preparation steps:
1. Prepare the spinach.
Wash the spinach and let the water drain. Blend until smooth.
2. Egg mixture.
In a bowl, combine eggs and sugar, beat with a mixer. Add the olive oil and beat again briefly.
Divide the mixture into 2 equal parts.
3. Dry mixture.
Sift the flour together with the baking powder through a sieve, mix well.
Finally, divide the dry mixture into 2 equal parts.
4.Liquid bases.
-In one bowl, mix spinach with milk.
-In another bowl, mix cocoa with milk. Stir both mixtures well.
5. Combining.
-To the spinach mixture, add one part of the dry mixture and one part of the egg mixture. Mix until smooth.
-To the chocolate mixture, add the second part of the dry mixture and the second part of the egg mixture. Mix until smooth.
You should now have two batters: spinach and chocolate.
6. Assembling the cake.
Pour the chocolate batter into a silicone cake mold. Add the spinach batter on top.
You can also layer them alternately, as shown in the video.
7. Marble effect.
Use a knife, skewer, or fork to gently swirl the two batters together for a marble pattern.
8. Baking.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F) for about 1 hour (time may vary depending on the size of the cake mold and your oven).
9. Check for doneness.
Insert a toothpick or skewer into the cake:
-if it comes out dry — the cake is ready,
-if it comes out wet — bake a little longer.
