Love this. My now adult children are avid grillers from watching and helping all those years.

Good work. My daughter loves to help cook/bake/grill/smoke. It’s the best part of being a parent

    Sweet I love this
Have been doing a bit of cooking in the kitchen with my grandkids that are basically gonna be four soon and another five 1/2 years old and starting them with basics, but hoping they love it and carry the tradition on

I’ll be watching out for him in Iron Chef. Cute!

I recently got my 9 year old cooking(stove) he can make chicken pork pancakes and French toast by himself. He enjoys it like I do. It’s definitely an upgrade from using the microwave lol

My kid, now 14, has been cooking with me since he could stand. From baking pastries, to stuffing cannelloni, to grilling and griddling. No way any kid of mine is paying 40 bucks to get a burger delivered!

Our little town had a pulled pork smoking contest during Fun Days this summer, and an 8 year old kid took 1st place out of 12 competitors!!

    You’re raising that kid right.🥲

Hate to be a safety officer, but should that aerosol can be that close to the hot grill?

Yes! Nurture that. The dude found something that empowers him and everyone will benefit from it. 😉

Not grilling specific (though this same kid loves to cook and grill)

I have like 3 guitars. Nothing special (as I’m nothing special as a player — I was learning just because I wanted to learn an instrument in my life).

One day my daughter walks into my office, grabs my acoustic guitar, and says “this is mine now”. And then walks away.

I’m like “Ok. Gotta admire the hustle.”

She’s a much better player than I am at this point.

Awesome!! I wish I would have started grilling at 7!
