I recently made this cake for a birthday.

Usually I have guidance or request but this time it was all up to me!

I've been feeling a bit down lately so I decided to go with some colourful little sugar flowers (1st time trying to make them, turned out a bit too thick but I still like them!)

Lemon sponge, filled with homemade lemon curd, and lemon Swiss meringue buttercream.

No picture of the inside, I only managed to get one after it was all gone. πŸ˜…

As usual, baking is the best self care for me
