my gochujang is 1 year over its expiry date. i heard gochujang doesn’t really expire as they just keeps fermenting. its only been left in my fridge and does not smell funky but i need to double confirm if i can still use it in bibimbap. 😅

Idk how old is mine. I think even longer. For me, as long as I don’t see any mold I will still consume it.

Looks fine to me, Gochujang has a best before date rather than expiry. As long as there is no mold it should be safe.

Smell and taste test it before use

I believe there gochujang and doenjang in Korea that is like 100s of years old. You are fine. As long as it isn’t moldy.

  5. It doesn’t technically go bad so you’re good, as long as there’s no mold
