It's my birthday soon and I'm calorie banking because I want to eat full fat cake with my family. 😔

I absolutely WILL take any suggestions/advice/recipes for a low(er) calorie cake, however. I have an insatiable sweet tooth. That's how I got here in the first place lmao.

I’ll get my noodle fix with the Pasta Fagioli Soup and Salad at Olive garden. A bowl is only 150 calories and you can get several, and a side of dressing. I like the method of dunking my fork in the dressing before each bite to stretch it out with an extra bread stick.

Angel Food cake is lower in calories because it doesn’t use butter or egg yolks. Put that in a bowl with Fat Free Ready whip and fresh fruit pieces.

If you are willing to make your own stuff, i basically live off normal recipes but replacing all the ingredients with lower calorie shit. For instance, I made this: https://www.eatingonadime.com/blueberry-muffin-recipe/

But i replaced the flour with this: https://fibergourmet.com/collections/flour

And the sugar with artificial sweetener, the oil with vanilla sugar free greek yogurt, the egg with egg whites, and the milk with almond milk. Came out to like 30 cal per muffin. I’ve made cakes and banana bread and chocolate creme pies and cheesecake and all sorts of other stuff this way for like a fraction of the calories (cheesecake for instance is like 400ish or less for the whole thing). Currently i am basically obsessed over making the perfect 8×8 pan of brownies for 400 cals or less (and a shit ton of protein).

Wash the noodles good and proper and either stir fry or microwave for at least 3 mins.

When I first started eating konjac noodles I hated the elasticy texture and fishy smell. But now I don’t eat wheat pasta at all. There are similar posts with people sharing tips on how to cook these in subs like volume eating if that’s helpful.

I like Pete’s pasta it is high fiber low carb and doesn’t give my a blood sugar spike. Try different low carb pastas until you find one you like
