My husband’s favorite tzatziki with warm grilled pita✨
Tune in for my next recipe where I’ll show you how to incorporate it into a delicious Mediterranean bowl 🙂
Tzatziki:▪️2 Cups Full Fat or 2% Greek Yogurt▪️1/2 a Large Cucumber, grated (1 Cup)▪️1 Garlic Clove, grated or minced▪️1 Medium Lemon, juice▪️1 Tbsp Olive Oil, plus more for drizzling▪️1/2 tsp Kosher Salt▪️
Pita:▪️3 Pitas▪️Olive Oil▪️
1️⃣ In a medium bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon, olive oil, and salt. Transfer the tzatziki into a serving bowl and drizzle with a little more olive oil on top.
2️⃣ Brush both sides of the pitas with some olive oil. Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, cook the pitas until golden brown, 1-2 mins per side.
3️⃣ Cut the pitas into wedges and serve warm with the tzatziki. Enjoy!

When my husband and I first started dating and I was trying to impress him with my cooking, I realized anything with this taziki in it, he loved. Eight years later and he still goes crazy for it. It’s truly the best. Enjoy it alone with grilled pa or as a topping to any Mediterranean dish. I love your tziki. It’s the best taziki. My tziki. Your tziki. My tziki.

I have never made my own this looks easy thank you 😊
Maxi reminds me of a bohemian pocahontas💖
Looks good! You should try it with some red wine vinegar instead of lemon juice some time. I also recommend adding some herbs, either dill (most of Greece) or spearmint (Cyprus). I'm Greek Cypriot so I have a preference for spearmint.
