I’d just get a liner and a new bucket from Home Depot. Would also recommend having a small vacuum to suck out the ash after every 2-5 uses.

Ive lined those with foil for years. You can also get drip trays on Amazon for 10-12 bucks, or get the exact traeger replacement for 40$ if you aren’t too handy.

You can scrape off some of that gunk on the spillway tray but I just throw down aluminum foil so I don’t have to clean it. Just get a shop vac and vacuum all the ash out including the fire cup thing (the name of it is escaping me lol)

What a deal! Just got the same one a few months ago for like $380 new.
If you want to replace the baffle it’s only $30-50 on Amazon. Otherwise you can just cover it with the traeger brand drip trays for a few bucks.
Otherwise, since it’s pre-owned I would definitely do a test run with the baffle and grills off so you can watch and see if the auger is working properly and of course if it’s lighting up!
Grab the manual online and definitely make sure to clean it every few cooks!
