In Persian cuisine, you’ll often get a raw onion with your meal. Wish more cultures did that.

Persian food is awesome, but I see no onion

    Love it!
Many indians too eat raw onions with their meals. It’s often cut into smaller pieces and eaten with other raw salad veggies, but occasionally smashed with the heel of the wrist to roughly break into pieces and then eaten as a side.

I see it now. My brain thought it was part of the cup or something. That’s awesome. Kinda like Mexican food has radishes and peppers.

I’ve been fortunate enough to work with a Persian family that feeds me on the daily basis and my god their food is so delicious!! I don’t say this lightly, my mom (Mexican) cooking is still THE best but Persian food definitely has second place in my book! 😋😋

  6. Don’t care if I get downvoted for saying this but that looks straight bussin.
