Fresh seeded sandwich roll
Hot pepper spread
Coulotte/picana steak (seared and oven finished, should have done a reverse sear)
Havariti
Carmelized Oyster mushroom and sweet onion
Organic American cheddar
Thin sliced red onion
Heirloom tomato slices
Romaine lettuce
Homemade roasted garlic and kewpie mayo

Wrapped in parchment paper and rested for a minute for sandwich cohesion

    I might try adding in some acid somewhere. Maybe some lemon in the garlic mayo, or a balsamic/wine/port reduction. A red wine jus or chimichurri would also work.

    Sidenote: Sometimes I like a horseradish cheddar with steak sandwiches. Not quite as overpowering as plain horseradish but adds a little zing to it
