i’m completely self taught as my cafe is to go only so art isn’t taught to us. i’m not sure if i’m not steaming the milk properly or if this is a pouring skill issue. any and all advice is appreciated!!

Your looks fine, take your time with pouring your art. Do you knock the bubbles out after you steam your milk? Just one sharp tap on the counter should do it

Pal it looks fine as hell you’re doing great. Just watch YouTube videos to try to get the motions down better for other art! Tulips are hardest for me

If you want a cleaner stem on these just lift your pitcher and pour a bit higher when you do you cut. They look good as is though.

You pour too fast so the liquid is still swirling when you start painting.
Or there is too little air in the milk you use to thicken the coffee. Then your pours will skew in the liquid milk. There should be enough micro foam to soften pours.

Pour the Rosetta center (the split down the middle) from a little higher up, so the milk sinks under the Rosetta’s surface foam.

slightly slower pour will help with symmetry, lifting pitcher when you pull through will help with those fat stems

Rolling your cup too fast when you bring the tip down to it so the surface level drops away from the pitcher and only catches up later OR not bringing the pitcher down with a confident, faster flow rate, tip of that pitcher on the surface like a pen on paper. (This is why your bases are cloudy not crisp and only your stem has crisp definition.)
My advice: slow your (cup) roll.
