I have been wanting a KJ for a long time now, but new they are out of my price range. Yesterday I saw a new post for a 24" KJ cheap, I msg and rush over to get it, no cracks in the ceramic, but missing the actual grill grate. I pay $300 and me and my friend load it up and get it home.

I measure the inside diameter and it's 19.5" , ok so it's not the big joe (too good to be true) but that seems too big to be the 18"

Can you guys help me confirm the model? I don't see a serial #

What parts am I missing? Grill grate and charcoal basket for sure.

Need to replace the caster wheels as they are froze up.

I'm going to start by giving it a deep clean, and Im considering repainting some of the black metal pieces that are fading and rusting.

You don’t need to clean it. Do a burn-off and it will clean the entire thing for you. Fire it up in inferno mode and it will burn everything off and look brand new inside

Go to Atlanta Grill Company website. Order the KJ Divide and Conquer, accessory rack, half moon heat deflectors, and half moon cooling grates. All for a KJ Classic size.

Doesn’t look like you have much to do. Seems ready to go. Just do a clean burn and get after it. Get new accessories

  4. You might need to calibrate the thermometer or replace it.  Look it up on YouTube.

  5. Treat that top like a cast iron skillet. Scrub any rust, pam it, bake it at 350 for a few hours.

New gasket kit. Watch videos to replace it. Pretty easy.

Can get new wheels on (non KJ) Amazon for $25. Search on here for brand.

Knock off divide and conquer system off Amazon and you are cooking.
