This is my first attempt at growing Peter Peppers from seed, they look kinda scrungly and wrinkly to me, is this normal? Will they unscrungle as they ripen?

It’s not how pretty they are, it’s about how you use them. (Poblano Peter bbq sauce, the Red Rocket.)
Peter peppers are usually scrungly! So you’re all good they look amazing

Never heard of them before. What do you use them for? Homemade hot sauce

My guess is, the plant is still a bit young. If she gets bigger, she’ll develop more characteristic peppers for sure. Chilis are so forgiving, great choice to start gardening with.
