Live! Casino hosting First Bite Nite to kick off its Restaurant Week

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) – Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana hosted a special event Wednesday night (Sept. 3) to kick off its Restaurant Week.

First Bite Night was Wednesday evening and gave people a special preview of the casino’s first-ever Restaurant Week. Live! Casino’s Restaurant Week will be held Sept. 7-18.

“This is our inaugural Restaurant Week for our property, yes. We participate in others that happen in the region, but this is ours. This is all of our best of what we have to offer,” said Shelli Murphy, advertising and public relations manager for Live! Casino.

First Bite Night was held at The Bar at Ridotto Grand Café within the casino. Food influencers and media got the chance to get a sneak peek of the culinary experiences diners can enjoy during Restaurant Week. The event featured curated bites and cocktails, a meet-and-greet with chefs, and a preview of the signature dishes that will be available at Live! Casino’s restaurants during Restaurant Week.

“You have the opportunity to come down and try something our that’s new and exciting, and I promise you, you’re gonna’ enjoy it. No matter which of these outlets you eat in, I dine in each one of them. When I’m off, I find myself still at work because I come up here to have dinner at one of the outlets here in the Live! Casino because by far, we have some really nice dishes and some excellent chefs in here preparing some really nice things, and you won’t be disappointed at all,” said Theresa Williams, chef de cuisine at Ridotto Grand Café.

“I hope they get to come and one, get to see how beautiful the property is, but also get to see The Prime Rib and get to experience the ambiance of it. And you know, it’s a northeastern restaurant we brought down to the south, and they really get to experience what it’s going to be like across the country,” said Jason Ezell, general manager of The Prime Rib.
