I'm looking to find a restaurant I ate at awhile ago. I was staying at the Sonder on Adelaide West and it would've been walking distance from the hotel. I had a standard breakfast with Lyonnaise potatoes. I was looking to leave a good review but I can't for the life of me remember the name of the restaurant! 😬 I hope someone can recognize the food and the tiny portion of menu seen behind my smoothie.

OP check the GPS metadata of your photo if you took it with a phone.

Unfortunately that menu doesn’t match any of the breakfast places I could see on Google maps near Adelaide West. I also tried breakfast places with poutine, as it seems that’s on the menu.

Hopefully someone else likes it and reviews it for you!

    $0.50 eggs
mccain wedges are about $0.40 a pound. so let’s say that’s 20 cents of potatoes
bacon at $5.50 a pound (this looks like very cheap sysco bacon but i digress) let’s say that’s a dollar
    grapefruit $2.50 that’s an eighth so $0.30
    mango about the same.

    I bet this cost $18

How long ago would this be?

The only place I can find in Toronto that does “Lyonnaise style potatoes” still is eggspectations. The current menu has poutines, crab benedict, and a breakfast of two eggs with lyonnaise potatoes by default.

It may have been at one of their locations that closed.

You already got your answer. But wanted to share that I immediately clued in on Eggspectation when I saw the drink haha. Something about the color of that smoothie. I’ve loved going to Eggspectation since I lived in Montreal back in 2013.

Send it to that GeoGuesser guy and maybe he’ll make a video of it
