Wanted to share a glimpse of two tamper handles I just finished shaping and sanding. They’ve got their first coat of clear finish, so the grain and resin are starting to pop. The white one’s spalted beech with ceramic-like resin, the blue one’s poplar burl with translucent deep blue resin – you can actually see through parts of it. Still need to mount them, but I’d love to hear what you think of the look and material combo so far. Do you lean more toward calm elegance or bold contrast?
