Just built my new house, and i couldn't resist making a big thing out of the coffee corner in the kitchen.
IMO it's a bit too much now that it's done, but my wife approves! She loves the look.

Rocket R58 plumbed in with DIY brew-by-weight, connected to a felicita arc, DF64P with SSP HU burrs, Rhino milk pitcher rinser 300mm and a water tap to rinse portafilters, puck discs, etc.

Image no. 2 is the technical stuff, behind the cabinet drawers.

Nice setup, definitely not jealous lol
By the way, how did you do BbW on a e61?

Is that installation legal? Often the power has to be installed over the water outlet

Dude…the sink! Next level. Thats perfect. Well…okay can i suggest, I wouldn’t notice if everything else wasn’t so darn perfect, a better place for that rag. Maybe like a little wall hang

  4. Looks lovely. Nothing above it though? No shelf for cups, or paraphanajela

My wife is going to hate you, starting this project now. Looks great!

  6. Missing water filtration unit below. And fridge for milk? 😂. And tip jar.

Did you plumb the drain in yourself? im sure it will work but the pvc diameter and the drain hose diameter is sending me.

That looks like a fire hazard. Plumbing over electrical is pretty unsafe. Did a licensed pro do that? Doesn’t look like it.

The workflow is a little awkward with the grinder on a different corner than the machine

What wdt is that? Can you share a link?

You might get siphoning in the s-trap. A p-trap is better but tricky in these spots. It’s a very cool espresso nook!

You are at the dream setup rn, enjoy it bro

Always nice to plumb the machine, I think rinser is an overkill and I’d rather install water filtration instead. Enjoy. P.s can you do pre infusion with R58 when plumbed in ?? Interested to hear. Maybe I can do the same with mine ) thx

  14. Too much?? Why? I think it is perfect. If anything, I think you forgot doing an integrated knock box, lol.

I will be doing the same in a few months.

Even with whole house softening I’d still check TDS.

  16. Not too much. In fact it’s probably a matter of time before we see a water filter system upgrade

Do you have a guide on how to setup the diy brew by weight? I’m looking to do something similar on my E61 setup.

If you already did diy brew by weight, will you add diy grind by weight too?

I found and recently built a gbw addition to my eureka mignon. It works phenomenally, is extremely fun to use and doesn’t look horrible.
I made the visible parts with a 3d printer, in a matte black filament fitting my matte mignon.

Since that is done, I don’t want to ever go back to single dosing.

The only advantage single dosing gave me was to be able to switch beans all the time.
