I bought my second bag of beans today and they are sooo much different than the first bag. Super foamy :O idk if that’s normal? The crema has big air bubbles in it ;0 and my other bag never made it to the top of the glass at 36 grams.

  2. Beans must be super fresh! Could either wait a few days for them to offgas more or could try a long pre-infusion

When your beans are fresh, the contain more CO2.
    More CO2, more crema.

  4. Might also be a high robusta blend. What are the beans?

This is what it looks like <4 days after I roast. 8-10 days before it starts to get back to normal range.

I mean it doesn’t look like a “typical” espresso, but it looks really good. Hope it tastes nice anyways, if you can’t wait a few days and need to use them now

Air out the CO2, let it sit for a week, should be fine

  8. Those must be like 2 days off roast that’s a lot of co2! Im jellyyyyy

I love the way these creamyspressos taste. I sip them quickly to make an annoying noise with my lips while letting additional air to mix in to expand these flavour bubbles. Hmmmmmm
