Florence Osteria Pizza e Vino is coming to Santa Monica Sept. 5, bringing an intimate taste of Tuscany to the neighborhood.
The 35-seat restaurant is Francesco Zimone’s latest addition to West Hollywood’s Florence Osteria & Piano Bar.
The latest Santa Monica location aims to serve a unique wine program. Offering diners an opportunity to try over 100 Italian wines “by the glass,” where they would otherwise only be offered by the bottle. The program creates a space for restaurant goers to learn more about Italian winemaking in an approachable and relaxed environment.

Outside of their expansive wine menu (over 100 Italian wines), the menu developed by Executive Chef Giuseppe Gentile, draws inspiration from Florence and Zimone’s own family traditions. Featuring housemade pasta and pizzas, wood-fired seafood and meats, and other Italian small bites.
“Florence Osteria Pizza e Vino in Santa Monica is not just an expansion, it’s a refined expression of our core values,” says Owner Francesco Zimone. “Thoughtfully designed to foster connection and comfort, the space brings soulful Italian cuisine to the Westside in a setting that’s as stylish as it is welcoming. With its intimate layout, playful design touches, and deep-rooted commitment to community, this new location is built to become a cherished part of the Santa Monica neighborhood as both a culinary destination and a neighborhood living room.”
The restaurant will be open 7 days a week at 413 Santa Monica Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90401. Open Monday through Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sundays.
