Hello everybody. Today I’ll be introducing to you Selletz tomato in a 5gallon bucket. Sellet’s tomato is considered an early variety. It produces uh 200 to 500 g um red tomatoes slicers. So that’s uh that would be 7 to 16 oz. Uh this one’s growing in a 5gallon Home Depot bucket. uh it it it is listed either as determinate or semi-eterminate. It is not a hybrid. It is an open pollinated variety. Um most websites say that it grows up to 5T. This one is already 5T tall from the base of the plant. As you can see uh since it’s it is a determinate variety I did not prune any suckers in the beginning. Actually I did only the ones close to the soil level right now. It has about five lers and they all um they all have fruits. See, there is one one cracked. But that’s not tomato’s fault. That’s my fault cuz u I used the cheapest top soil. And um and it’s really hard to control the moisture level with the if using only top soil. So, um, if your container, if you grow tomatoes in containers, make sure you use at least you mix at least, uh, like I would say 30%, it’s better 40% of Pete Boss with your top soil or garden soil, whichever one you want to use. And, uh, you can also use vermiculite. So that would that would uh control the moisture level.
