Home Depot/ Traeger selling these things at $100, $200 seems insane. $100 for 3 spatulas and a couple of squeeze bottles. $200 for a cast iron skillet?! What are we doing here.

That’s kind of their whole business model. Overpriced, mediocre

If people are going to pay it, they are going to charge it. Seems very overpriced to me, but since HD is a Traegar seller, I am sure they get people to buy this stuff when they are so excited about getting a new smoker/grill.

Anything but Traeger when it comes to smoking and the supplies.

Does that say $99 for two shitty spatulas and a couple squirt bottles?

Last time I hit the restaurant supply store I grabbed a spatula, half a dozen squirt bottles, and a couple new cutting boards. Think it was $35?

A normal person might buy a grill like once every 6-8 years at best… Much more money can be made on overpriced accessories.

Look at Solo Stoves… guaranteed for life… people might buy one or two in their lifetime, so Solo sells stuff like $50 marshmallow roasting sticks.

Tying to take advantage of the wife would doesn’t know shit about BBQ. They know she only remembers what it’s called and that he loves the barrel smoke thing.

Literally for the label. I’m assuming all of those products are third party manufactured. Any even if they weren’t Traeger quality is far from what it once was.

Sadly, someone will pay for it and brag about how much they overpaid for mediocre quality

As someone who fell for the hype of Traeger, and learned my lesson. People will buy this as it has the Traeger label….

I saw a guy at target talking to his wife about something similar to this. I said go to a restaurant supply store & get something 2x better & 1/3 the cost.

Yikes.  I bought a very similar Lodge branded griddle from Costco for like $30 last summer

I don’t have many regrets in life. Really have to think long and hard to find fault in my choices I have made. Except for one. Buying a Traeger back in 2019 definitely qualifies as one of my biggest regrets. No matter how much I clean it between cooks, if I take it above 300f, it will catch on fire. It occupies a corner of my garage and doesn’t ever get used anymore. Fuck Traeger and the corrugated box it came in.

  13. Camo chef seems to be the sweet spot in quality/ price.

very upset with the leadership of this company. I do believe they should price their smokers at a slight premium to peers due to brand name. however, who can justify $130 for a cast iron when the competitors sell the same thing for $20. Their pellets aren’t priced right either, bear mountain cost way less and are just as good.

Got the same 5 pieces Blackstone brand for $26.65. Can’t compare quality but no possible way this setup is $75 better.

Insanity, who is buying this? Someone must be?

reminds me of big green egg – so many accessories and ways to squeeze out some dough from customers

  17. Well, those are really nice squirt bottles. I guess.

For a couple of spatulas and squeeze bottles for $100?

I like my traeger but even their covers are overpriced. The grill itself was only $350

  20. Wooden_Gift3489

The same idiots who measured their dongs in how many Yeti coolers they owned are now doing it with Traeger junk.

70% of that is for treager ad campaign and marketing….
So overpriced and under delivery all around.
