I do have a question though, sometimes, my royal icing ends up with craters/holes. Any tips to avoid this?

As Pooh would say “On Bother … There’s a rumbly in my tumbly.” These cookies are *adorable*!!! 🐝

  3. maybe use a small fan to dry them or invest in a dehydrator…. that should stop the puckers

These look amazing! They look professional and if you’re charging, you should charge professional prices!

Yeah, a dehydrator or a fan can help with cratering. When I do the bee hive, or whenever I flood small areas at a time, I usually use no less than an 18 sec. consistency. Then my dehydrator ensures it won’t crater. A fan works too.

I’ve read/seen vids that poking tiny holes (like with a toothpick) in the surface of the area you’re about to flood with icing can prevent craters.
