I thinned them out as they grew and I wasn’t shy about it! I’m so pleased! Photo 2 is of the biggest and smallest carrots of the harvest.

Each year I swear to add some perlite and or sand to make growing them better… But I always forget and just seed where something else has grown and end up with short twisted choads who’ve struggled to go down 3 inches. 😜

I am pulling about 1 lb of the widest tops at a time (about 10 carrots) and processing those. Only about 12 more pounds to go (and then another 5 lbs in the other hoop house in a month).
