Working in Greece 40 years ago, carving marble, they fed me nothing but figs for lunch!
Traumatized? Maybe. But look at me now—turning figs into something fabulous!

Ingredients:
1.10 figs cut in half
2. Drizzle of balsamic oil
3. Small pinch of salt
4. Gravier Cheese, feta, mozzarella or vintage cheddar
5. Drizzle of honey
6. Drizzle olive oil
Method:
1. Trim the stalks of the figs and cut them in half
2. Place them, flesh side up, on a serving plate
3. Sprinkle a little salt on them, and a drizzle of balsamic oil
4. Grate the cheese and sprinkle all over the figs
5. Lastly drizzle of honey and a generous drizzle of olive oil
This dish is bursting with flavors ,served with bread and chilled white wine.
Enjoy!

[Music] Back in tree in the 80s, I was working high up in the mountains carving chunks of marble. The deal was 2,000 dramas a day and lunch. Lunch meant a plate of overrite figs. But 40 years later, I’m finally ready to forgive the fig. Enjoy this recipe.
