Had the Tapioca Dumplings that were to be eaten like a lettuce wrap with mint, cilantro, and peanuts. Unique mix of flavours and textures.

Also had the Lao Sausage that was very tasty and pairs perfectly with the chili sauce.

I'd go back to try their taro rolls and drunken noodles next time. Great service too!

The beef Massaman (spelling) and the pineapple fried rice are my go to’s. Love this place

  2. Thanks for sharing!! I moved to Ontario 2 years ago, and I love Sakoo (the tapioca dumplings), so it’s great to know I can find some here!

    Very meh

Was the trendy place because of the decor but food didn’t have much flavour.

The beef massaman curry is one of the best in the city IMO

Ive done takeout here a few times and dined in once, their food is okay, a lot of it came out cold when eating in and I was excited to try the tapioca dumps but they were too sweet. Also idr what the lao sausage tasted like lol

  6. I loved that sausage dish and everything we had at lao lao bar.

I’ve been craving lao/northern thai sausage for years…are there any other places to get this?

I’ve dreamt of those tapioca dumplings for 2 years, ever since a friend introduced me to them.
