Trypophobia triggering
Nice! You might try the King Arthur recipe. It’s my favorite way to get rid of large amounts of discard.
Thank you for posting the recipe!!! My mom loves loves loves crumpets. I’m going to make her some with my discard 😍
These look outrageously good!
These remind me of English muffins, do they have the same mouth feel/texture?
Recipe please! I haven’t tried crumpets yet. I’m constantly making English muffins. Just got 2 batches ready. Today’s batches are datil pepper and they are the most requested.
Lovely
r/trypophobia would love this XD
Those look lovely!
I’ve never had a crumpet before but these made my mouth water 🤤
Recipe please!!!!!!
I want to know what they taste like. Although they’re heavily triggering my trypophobia
Thank you for sharing this! I fell in love with crumpets while living in the UK a few years back, and now I’m stuck here in the US—crumpetless! I recently started my own sourdough starter and have been baking nonstop, so this is honestly my favorite Reddit find in ages. I’ve been searching for a good use for my discard, and this is perfect. I just ordered some rings and plan to try the King Arthur recipe as soon as they arrive. Yours look fantastic—exactly like the ones I used to grab at the shops in Liverpool. Any tips?
Those came out great!!
Did you use anything to keep them round while cooking??
Looks delicious.
Love then! That last pic got me lol
