Just a little bit of granola messed up my budget.. And it's not even that good!! I couldn't even pour it back into the box because it was on yogurt. I would've been more careful pouring if I realized it was so calorie dense.

Start with your granola. That way you can take it out if its too much. It all gets mixed together anyway, no reason you have to start with the gurt

that’s a huge amount of yogurt to start with. you can just pour out this thing in servings, and you’re all set.

just scoop it out and throw it out. next time scoop with a measuring cup vs free pour

Throw out what you don’t want. I know it seems like wasting money but that money is gone now whether you put unwanted calories in your body or not. This mindset has helped me with leftovers/scraps on my kids’ plates SO MUCH. It’s waste whether it’s in the garbage or in your body above your deficit. It’s waste either way.

Best advice is to weigh dry ingredients separately before adding to a wet mix

Wow that’s a giant serving of food, even discounting the granola haha

I thought everyone was exaggerating about the amount of yogurt but it’s half of the big container I buy 😆 Do your thing, cuz.

Stick half of it in the fridge and have it for tea.

Your first mistake was buying granola. It’s so not worth it.

I weigh things separately and then add them when I’m making a bowl. Instead of granola, you might try making overnight oats with steel cut oats. It gives that texture, but the glycemic index is more favorable and less sugar. Also may want to try adding cinnamon and reducing honey. Cinnamon makes you think it’s sweeter than it is!

I love that granola. I use 40g in 300g of oikos triple zero and it’s a perfect amount.

Half a kilo of yoghurt is absolutely wild

Get set of suitably sized pots. Measure out a week’s worth of granola servings. Grab and go!

For this time: you’ve got a scale, so you can scoop some back out…

Ugh, last night I had a TJ teeny tiny apple pie with ice cream, and thought it was 100g of ice cream I usually had. Went to enter it after and I usually have 40g. Threw me way over for the day. Today is a new day I s’pose.

Granola is the most dangerous “health food.”
