Arsenic and rice is a real concern, but there are ways to reduce it by up to 70%. Rice is also a high glycemic food. We’re going to make it much more blood glucose friendly. First off, I choose white rice over brown because it’s significantly lower in arsenic. And while brown rice has slightly more fiber, we’re going to add that back with lentils and quinoa, which also reduces the overall glycemic impact of rice. Be sure to also choose a brand of rice that’s tested for arsenic. I created a free PDF with brands lower in arsenic and tips. Make a big batch of this delicious rice and freeze it to increase resistance starch.

Never knew about arsenic being in rice….

  8. Arsenic is also in many other seeds like apple seeds. You will be fine. The amounts are so small that NOTHING can happen to you, and this video is just making people be more fearful of something so safe as rice.

  9. I recently went to the doctor and he says my blood pressure is quite elevated, but not quite at the point where I need medication. I've decided to follow some of your advice to try help lower my levels and potentially prevent being put onto chronic medication, such as eating more fibre, limiting salt and sugar intake and focusing on healthier natural fats! thank you for everything you do! ❤
