I don’t eat a lot of “freezer food”, although I have a freezer full portioned meat and fish, but this weekend I pulled 25 hours in two days and I didn’t feel like prepping everything from scratch.
Pretty nice Kyiv, I think from Waitrose, with a simple salad/salsa of ribboned courgette, pickled cucumber, capers, parsley and seasoning.
Served with a nice little dollop of the best Mustard (for the money) Grey Poupon.
I was quite happy with how it looks. It kind of has Bistro/ Thomas Straker vibes; I washed it down with some Chablis that was £4.38 reduced to clear at Tesco. (Bargain of the year. Definitely not worth the £18 it was originally marked up for).
Cheers. Happy Sunday.
