My friend and I had this big brunch (pics attached): a full English breakfast with sausages, bacon, fried egg, fries, grilled tomatoes, black pudding, plus strawberry pancakes with chocolate drizzle, and two lattes.

I took a pic into an app and it came out to 2,650 kcal (with 230g carbs, 106g protein, 148g fat).

It feels like a lot, but at the same time… maybe it’s right?

Curious to hear from you guys — does that number sound accurate, or do you think it’s over/under-estimated?

I’m not seeing 100g protein there but the rest of the macros sure I’d believe it

My calculation says about 2250 (without the small butters on the side) for the whole thing. If you shared it 1125 (+1 butter) kcal which is really not terrible if this was a brunch! Hope it was tasty!

I think it might be right

    Both lattes are probably 500

    English breakfast I’d say 150 bread + 100 egg + 300 bacon + 300 fries + 250 black pudding + 300 sausages+ 20 tomatoes, so ~1100

The crepes are probably around 600, crepes alone are pretty small so 300 for crepes 300 for toppings seems fair.

    Comes down to ~2600

Could be less if lattes were without sugar and on low fat/plant based milk, and honestly I think the crepes could be a bit less too but I always overestimate a bit. If you’re trying to bulk maybe log as 2300 because then it’s safer to underestimate
