Can anyone help me identify this plant? (Spontaneous grow after years of empty pot)

Just like the title says. I have not planted any seeds or attempted to grow anything, but maybe 2-4 weeks ago I noticed I had a fairly large plant growing out of a pot with a small amount of soil in it. The pot receives runoff rain water and occasional water when friends smoke and for years we had nothing. I immediately planted it and attempted to grow it as I would a super hot, but it seemed to do much better with more water. I’m assuming jalapeño, just from the pepper shape but I can’t be sure and can’t identify leaves exactly like mine.
Given the random nature of this plant growing, I have become incredibly attached to it, and really just want it to grow as healthy as possible lol.
Any help would be so appreciative. I’m new to peppers and truly want to learn a lot. Thanks!
