LYNDHURST, Ohio – Cleveland Restaurant Group has moved the opening date of its upscale Greek-Mediterranean dining experience from 2026 to November of this year. EVOO will open in the Legacy Village space formerly occupied by California Pizza Kitchen.
The restaurant’s name is an abbreviation of “extra virgin olive oil” and a nod to how this single, high-quality ingredient can elevate an entire dish.

The restaurant is creation of long-time Cleveland restaurateurs Brad Friedlander and Michael DuBois.
“We’re excited to bring an upscale Mediterranean restaurant to Northeast Ohio,” said Friedlander, in a press release. “EVOO will offer an elevated Greek dining experience.”
The menu, developed by Friedlander and DuBois in collaboration with CRG Consulting Chefs Julian Kuczma and Scott Stiving, will feature Greek-inspired dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. Diners can expect freshly baked sourdough pita, marinated meats, and roasted fish, all prepared with a blend of traditional and innovative techniques.
EVOO will also feature a fully stocked bar offering cocktails and wines.
The new establishment will seat 130 guests inside, with an additional 30 seats on the outdoor patio.
In early 2026, the restaurant will be joined by The Legacy, a new restaurant concept that pays homage to some of Friedlander’s most celebrated Cleveland restaurants including Café Brio, Moxie, RED and Cut 151.

EVOO will be at 25365 Cedar Road, Lyndhurst.
