school cafeteria says this is 220 calories, but i really doubt that.
it’s just chicken, shredded cheese, and a tortilla. i truly doubt it’s actually 220 for all this.

Two tortillas to make two quesadilla is probably 260+ kcal in it of itself lmao
nochill95

Per wedge maybe, and even that’s a stretch

I make quesadillas pretty often on my Blackstone. A full sized 10” tortilla is 220 or so, so to make a full circle lets go with 450. I use about 4 oz of cheese which is another 450. 3-4oz of chicken shouldn’t be more than 150-200. So we’re around 1100 for a full circle. If what you have there is 3 slices, making up a half circle, then I’d say about 550 total – at most.

I’m guessing the 220 is based on a serving size and you have more than one serving. That’s the only way it makes sense.

Per slice for sure

There are large whole wheat tortillas that are 50-60 calories each. That said, these don’t look like whole wheat.

Taco bell’s quesadilla looks similar and is 500 calories. Your quesadilla is more like 800 calories so 200 a slice would be in the ball park.

Isn’t tortilla alone 120-190 kcal
SIGNANDSELFIEFRAMES
The tortilla and cheese alone is at least 350-400

I had this same portion at a restaurant last night without the meat, and menu said 1170 calories, only it came with grilled veggies and a dollop of sour cream and guac. I’d say this is probably pushing 800 tbh.

Yea nah son cheese and tortilla alone gotta be 300

Maybe the intention was 220 calories, but someone didn’t follow the damn recipe. You can’t hit a specific number like that without weighing shit.

I would straight up ask the brand of cheese and tortilla lol. Get as close as you can to knowing how much it actually is. I’m guessing nearly 3/4ths a cup of mild cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack/mexican blend cheese, 1/2 cup of chicken, a tortilla, and they might have even oiled the pan they browned the tortilla with. With those measurements and no oil, the whole thing would likely be around 600-700 calories.
