WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — Families in Cadillac are invited to enjoy a movie under the stars while supporting a good cause.
The Great Start Collaborative is hosting a free showing of “Inside Out 2” at the Cadillac Rotary Pavilion on Friday, September 19.
Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support the Salvation Army.
Deb Simon, coordinator for the Great Start Collaborative, said, “It means everything to who we are. We’re a collaborative, so that’s our whole entire position is how to bring families and organizations together in the community to just establish that feeling for families that they’re involved. They’re connected. They know what’s going on around, you know, different things like that.”
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets, as seating will not be provided.
Wesco is donating free popcorn, and there will be allergy-friendly snacks and free books for kids.
While donations are not required to attend, the event aims to support local families who rely on the food pantry.
