please help me. what is this on my habanero plant? what can I do to get rid of it? only those 2 leaves are affected, should i cut them off?

    looks like something has been chewing on them. Probably a leaf scraping insect. They don’t look too bad though, I’d remove the first one and leave the second one. Take a look and see if you can see the culprit. They are tiny and often seem to be able to fly. Is the pepper indoors or outdoors? If it’s outdoors, in my experience, you’ll just learn to accept some imperfect leaves. If it’s growing well it can handle some damage.

    This isn’t necessarily what this is but sometimes you can get spots similar to these on the leaves if you use a water hose with a “shower” type spray while the sun is out. This happens due to light refraction from the sun rays magnifying in the the water droplets and then hitting the leaves. Easy fix is to water either when dark if u must use a hose or use a watering can and just get it in the soil rather than overtop the plants.

    EDIT: Didn’t see these are indoor plants so that rules this theory out but maybe you learned something🤣
