Let’s make delicious and healthy asparagus in the oven.
Ingredients:
* 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
* 1–2 tbsp olive oil
* Juice of ½ lemon
* 2–3 cloves garlic
* 2–3 tbsp grated Parmesan
* Pinch of chilli flakes (optional, for a little kick)
* Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 200°C (fan 180°C) / 400°F.
2. Toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
3. Spread on a baking tray in a single layer. Add unpeeled crushed garlic on top.
4. Roast for 12–15 minutes until tender but still slightly crisp.
5. Remove from oven, squeeze lemon juice over the top, sprinkle Parmesan, and optional chilli flakes.
6. Serve immediately — the garlic is crispy, Parmesan slightly melted, and the lemon makes it bright and fresh.
