In Paris’s 9th arrondissement, a stone’s throw from the Moulin Rouge, a new address is already catching the eye: Bonne Heure. With its large, pointed terrace, fir-green striped blinds and relaxed atmosphere, this lively bistro is already establishing itself as a new lifestyle spot for local residents.

Generous cuisine, cocktails and a good atmosphere at the Bonne Heure table

Designed by Dod Architecte (Bouillon Pigalle, Café du Louvre), the space features a rounded bar in brushed stainless steel, topped by a mirrored ceiling and lighting fixtures. The colorful striped banquettes echo the outdoor blinds, while the cream-colored floors and walls recall the codes of the Parisian bistro. Accordion windows, wooden tables, disco-house playlist: you’ll feel right at home at Bonne Heure, any time of day.

At the rear, a more intimate room with geometric lines and triangular tables lends itself to a more festive atmosphere. And in fine weather, the terrace with its wicker chairs is the perfect place for a coffee, a drink or an aperitif in the sun.

Speaking of which, what’s for dinner at Bonne Heure? Chef Florent Durand has come up with a simple yet sophisticated French cuisine, served non-stop from 11am to 10pm. In the morning, there are two breakfast formulas (from 7€), with a choice of viennoiseries, fresh juice and eggs. At lunchtime, an à l’ardoise menu (starter/main course or main course/dessert from 18€) changes daily. The à la carte menu revisits classics such as eggs mayonnaise, beef tartare and trout gravlax. Otherwise, treat yourself to a salmon tataki, grilled octopus or burger.

A highlight at Bonne Heure, the aperitif is shared around small tapas-style plates: jamon croquetas, pea hummus, pan con tomate… The cocktail menu, designed by François Acquaviva, includes house creations such as the Baiser de Pigalle and the Pigalle Sunset, with their fresh, summery notes.

In short, early in the morning or late at night, you can enjoy Bonne Heure at any time. It’s up to you to try it out!
