Apple-Cranberry Noodle Kugel With Lotus Crumble
A comforting twist on a holiday favorite
Ingredients:
1 (12-ounce) bag Manischewitz wide egg noodles
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
5 large eggs
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups apples, peeled and diced
1 cup dried cranberries
½ cup Lotus cookie crumbs (or graham cracker crumbs)
Directions:
Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain well.
In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in melted butter.
Fold in noodles, apples and cranberries.
Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish. Top with cookie crumbs.
Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown.
Pho-Style Matzo Ball Soup

Ingredients:
1 package Manischewitz Frozen Matzo Balls
8 cups Manischewitz chicken broth
1 star anise pod
2 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 2-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 cup shredded cooked chicken
½ cup sliced shiitake mushrooms
½ cup bean sprouts
Fresh herbs (cilantro, basil or mint)
Lime wedges
Directions:
In a large pot, combine broth, star anise, cloves, cinnamon, ginger and soy sauce. Simmer for 20 minutes. Strain broth.
Add mushrooms and shredded chicken, simmering until heated through.
