My amazing wife’s creation. Home grown shiso, an overnight shiozuke pickle, dipped in the chilli oil, then draped over tofu cubes. Eaten ‘hitokuchi’ (in one mouthful), each mouthful was delicious! It definitely doesn’t need any shoyu added but next time she thinks she’ll add a smidgen of yuzukosho on top perhaps.

What is in the little pot behind? It looks tasty and lovely also. Your wife has an eye for beautiful plating for sure.
