I was travelling in Asia recently and stopped by a nespresso store in one of the luxury malls there. They showed me the new version of the VertuoPlus, the Chrome VertuoPlus, and it clearly stood out in both appearance and function. I assumed it’s already been released in the U.S., as my friend told me the nespresso market in Asia is bad and every time she’s bought a machine it’s been an old model. However, when I tried to find the model in the U.S., it’s nowhere to be found. Does anyone know if this is available in the U.S. market, or if it will be released soon? I was planning on getting myself one when moving into my new apartment, but now I don’t know if I should hold out or not, the design is literally perfect but I’m also a nespresso addict – help!😫

Are you moving to the US? Is that 110V? That’s what we have in the states. I don’t see a Chrome model so if you want that, get it. Personally I don’t like using appliances from another country in the one I currently live in. I fear electrical fires.

It’s popping up around Europe in the past week or so, definitely a new release. Personally, I wouldn’t buy a machine with the wrong voltage and would just wait for it to be released in my home market.

Get a reputable step-up transformer and you will be good. My Dyson dryer is 220v, when I travel to Japan or US they use 110v and with the step-up transformer it work just fine.

Edit – initially wrote step-down transformer but a kind soul has corrected my mistake. 🙏🏼
