This is definitely a fruit forward Napa Cab. dark cherry, chocolate bright bing cherry notes. I’m more of a leather, tobacco, cigar box, garrigue fan. This wine is still exceptional, very nice and easy to drink.
James Suckling rated this vintage 93pts.
Tasting Notes from the Winery:
The 2021 ARTEMIS Cabernet Sauvignon offers inviting aromas of boysenberry, plum, currant, chocolate and baking spice. The rich and creamy entrance leads to a fresh and flavorful mid-palate. The wine is full-bodied with rich fruit flavors and integrated tannins that are persistent and plush.

So what is your rating of this wine? You mention more tertiary flavours than “fruit forward” flavours. What would you rate this on your own. Official ratings aside..
Decant?
solid choice. consistently good. not a stunner, but drinks so easily. Haven’t had any other vintages though.
