The province’s liquor board says sales of Quebec-made wines were up almost 50 per cent between April and August, compared to the same time last year. That’s right after U.S. wines were pulled from the SAQ shelves in response to the Trump administration’s tariffs. Experts say the popularity of local wines has been on the rise since the pandemic.
