You have 72 hours to pack your stuff, leave, and never come back. I don’t know what kind of evil witchcraft this is but I don’t care. You are now dead to us.

No, those are two grilled cheeses with a couple burgers in between.

It’s very thin ice, but it’s passed before here.

Grilled cheese is an ingredient, but this isn’t grilled cheese. It’s like using beer when cooking something and saying you’re eating beer.

  5. I’ve done this before, then I realized it’s functionally similar to just a patty melt but kinda worse

All I see is two grilled cheeses with the sides in-between them. Nice choice of plating!

No this is a bread and meat melt.

  8. the only ingredient in grilled cheese is just that – cheese, bread, and grilled.

Thats not a grilled cheese sandwich. A grilled cheese sandwich is 2 pieces of bread with cheese melted in the middle.

We they use a donut as a bun on a burger, would you still call the whole thing a donut?

  12. People seriously haven’t tried this? I’ve also done this using garlic bread as the bread and spaghetti

  13. It makes it a patty melt.

Delirious. But not a grilled cheese.

Now I want to do that with a fried egg and a sausage patty.

There are a lot of very strict purists in this group who will say it doesn’t count, but damn, that looks good. What kind of cheese did you use?
