Hell, for that price I’d buy it just to see!

If stored correctly I would give it a try and open it. Opened a 69 last year and it was really good so worth the try. Price round about 500-600 if in good condition.

At that price, I’d take a chance for sure 🥹

I don’t play the lottery, I take these kinds of chances.

1969 is an exceptional vintage for champagne. I think well worth taking a gamble on. Typically, a bottle with proven provenance could go for over $1000. $80 is well worth taking a chance on it. Dom Pérignon released a p3 for this vintage, which is released at least 25 years after the initial release of the wine. Only the best vintages make it to this stage in the Dom Pérignon lifecycle. For perspective, a bottle of 1969 Dom Pérignon P3 is going for around $14,000 on wine searcher at the moment.

My grandmother had a bottle of Dom from a mediocre vintage in the 70s, questionably stored it for decades, and when I finally convinced her to open it, I was absolutely impressed. Totally worth the gamble!

I had the 69 once like 12 years ago. It was stellar, and had tons of life left
