Made salsa for the first time by how_it_goes 2 Comments how_it_goes 2 months ago Because I wanted to make breakfast burritos. Turned out great! However, I now have an incredible amount of salsa left. Open to suggestions on what to do besides going at it with a straw.I used [this](https://www.aspicyperspective.com/best-homemade-salsa-recipe/) recipe (which I’m sure you guys have seen a million times by now) and a neglected food processor that my mom got me for Christmas half a decade ago.Since automod is demanding I type out the recipe, I will type out the recipe as I used it.* 5 vine tomatoes* 1 red onion* 3 garlic cloves* 3 jalapenos* half bunch cilantro* 2 limes worth of juice* small handful of cumin seeds, mortared (maybe 2 teaspoons ground)* 1.5 tsp salt* 15 oz crushed tomatoes (can)* 4.5 oz diced green chiles (can, mild because the store didn’t have hot)Blended in small batches in [this](https://www.kitchenaid.com/countertop-appliances/food-processors/choppers/p.3-5-cup-food-chopper.KFC3516CU.html) which was hilariously small for the task, but performed admirably.
