





I’m always searching for good discard recipes and I think this one’s a winner. Recipe calls for one small apple but I’d probably use two next time. Bake time was closer to an hour.

I wonder how well this’d work with potato-based sourdough discard. Potato-based is nigh liquid, so I’d probably have to up the amount of flour or something…
Looks delish, but one remark: If you add another apple, you also add more moisture and you might need more flour. It might help, if you add s.th. that binds the water. OR, you have to cook the apples until they have lost some of their moisture and are more sirupy.
