Community members sample an array of drinks at the Uncorked Wine Festival

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Dozens of Missouri wineries came together in Independence over the weekend for the Uncorked Wine Festival.

Held on the historic Bingham Waggoner Estate, it gave people a chance to sample wine from 25 wineries. Attendees also enjoyed art, music, beer, and food vendors.

Plus, people got to try their hand at making some wine themselves.

All profits for the event benefitted local charities supported by the Rotary Club of Eastern Independence, who helped put on the festival.
